Care Professionals Attached to the Practice
Midwife
Katie Gadsby RGN SCM
We aim to encourage patients to be involved as much as possible in
deciding their care. Patients are provided with a choice in the
place of delivery and although the doctors are unable to supervise
deliveries personally, the mid wife can take on cases occasionally
at home or in hospital. Alternative services include: parent-craft
classes, exercise classes, aqua natal, physiotherapy and relaxation.
A full midwifery service is offered up to 28 days following the
birth of your baby, at which point this care is taken over by your
health visitor.
